With the New Moon in Pisces, we are being guided by the two fishes. The dual nature of Pisces, the fish swim in opposing directions, one toward the heavens, and one toward the underworld. The fish also connects us with the wisdom of water, the most creative and mysterious element of our world. Since ancient times, it symbolized the depth of our subconscious and knowledge. 

Water influence

With Pisces we are in the water element. There is a secret world beneath the water's surface, it conceals all that is unknown to us who cannot fully explore it. We can never know even a portion of what goes on in the depths of the oceans and seas but it exists all the same. We still find many surprises by what is down there and the same goes for the mysterious world of that we consider sacred and divine.

Neptune/Jupiter influence

Pisces is ruled by two planets like Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio and Virgo, The modern day ruler is Neptune and the older ancient ruler is Jupiter. The combination provides the fuller essence of the sign.

Neptune is a higher octave of Venus, connecting with universal love and compassion as well as inspirations and wisdom from altered states, psychic awareness. A source of visual communication - dreams or creativity. Roman sea-god shows Neptune as a vast, deep, mysterious and unknown force.

Jupiter is the planet of blessings and expansion - gifts, luck, tolerance, and spiritual growth. Jupiter seeks insight through knowledge.

With this moon we are in the life area of the 12th house, this is the house of Secrets, Mystery and Self Knowing. With the element of the Water we are in the realm of the 2nd Chakra (Sacral/Svadhistana Chakra). Svadhistana means 'One's own abode" and resides in our sacral area, home to the most intimate parts of us - a place that is special and sacred.

Also we are in the 7th Chakra (Crown/Sahasrara Chakra) as we connect with the big divine in our lives - how ever that connection is made for us.
